WHY YOU SHOULD NOT OWN A TRAMPOLINE!

We have a new trampoline at our house. Our neighbor moved and didn't want to take it so they told us we could have it. We can't put it in the ground because it is not our home. We have a rule that only one person can jump at a time. I was inside with a friend working on her pictures while Todd was out mowing the lawn. Ellie and Carson were outside too. The next thing I hear is Ellie screaming. I ran out into the kitchen and she looked like this. We have told Carson time and time again that he can not jump while Ellie is jumping because she will get hurt. We always sit on the tramp while they jump and make sure this rule is followed, in this case it didn't happen... Ellie was double bounced off the tramp and landed head first into the curbing. I feel so awful and like I should get the best parent award for even having the darn tamp! I took her to our neighbors home who is a nurse and she told me what I should do. The poor thing, I kept her up late to make sure she didn't have a concussion. She did sleep well and she is happy as ever. They are both grounded from the tramp for a while and I am getting a net thing to put around it!
About and 1 1/2 after it happened!This morning. It is so swollen and bruised, the pictures don't do it justice! She really looks so much worse. Poor Ellie

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!

I wanted to let my Mom know how amazing she is. I am so thankful to have her in my life. She has always made my life so much better and easier. She loves her grandkids and nothing stops her from seeing them and she would do anything for them. I love spending time with my Mom, I love talking to her, she can make a bad day turn into a good day by just talking to her. My Mom helps me realize that I can do anything and get through anything. My Mom did not have a great example of a Mother growing up but you would never know it because she is the most loving, kindest, caring, selfless person I know! I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day! I love you Mom!!!
Merilee is such a sweet Mother In-law. I couldn't ask for better one either! She is so much fun and always making sure everyone is happy. I had so much fun with her on our trip. Merilee is very friendly and easy to talk to. She can put a smile on your face by just talking to her. She loves her family and loves having everyone all together. Merilee loves to play games. We sure miss the get togethers and all the game playing. I hope you had a wonderful Mothers Day! We love you!!

I will never do this again by myself. I took these two to do there birthday pictures. What a nightmare!! It was too hard to pose, make them smile think of new ideas and I forgot to ROLL up Carson's SLEEVES!!! AHH!! I was so mad when I noticed! He looks off! Ellie's little face is all splotchy red from the day's earlier water park outing. I will not do that again, I didn't even think of a sunburn, I used sunscreen! Oh well... I will retake them when we get home from our trip but here is a sneak preview! My friend told me about this new place, I can't decide if I love it but it is new!

Papa Mac celebrated his birthday on April 16th. Mac is such a wonderful guy. We are so happy that he is in our family and so thankful our G.G. has him in her life, he takes such great care of her!! We hope you had a wonderful day! We love you!!

I can't believe my little Carson is already 4! It has gone by so fast. I remember bringing him home and I was scared to death because I had no idea what the heck I was doing. Luckily my mom came and slept over for a week and helped out all through the night. I remember I was terrified the night she went home, I didn't think I could do it. Carson was a HARD baby. He cried for 6 months. He had acid reflux. I would walk up and down our sidewalk trying to calm him down. I also ran our vacuum all the time till he got used to it and it didn't work anymore. I still remember the day in the car when I had a priceless thought to turn the music to static to help him stop crying and it actually worked, for a short time!! It was awesome! All in all it was a great learning experience for me, I know that if Carson wasn't the baby he was, I would never have appreciated a good baby and if I were to have another one like that(Lets pray no) I would know that I could get through it and it doesn't last forever! Carson is such a sweet, loving, energetic boy. He is always on the go and never crashes! He is very talented and coordinated. We had no idea he could even ride a real scooter till he came home before he was two on our neighbors. He is amazing! He loves kids. He has always been a people person. He loves to be outside playing, his new love is his new bike that he got for his birthday. I can't believe he is already this big, time goes by too fast. I am the luckiest Mom in the world! We love you Carson and hope you had a wonderful birthday.

Happy Birthday Haley!

She is so cute!

When I went down to Henderson for Keira's birthday, I took Haley's birthday/baptism pictures too. She did really great. It was so cold and windy that you could see the goose bumps on her arms in the pictures.

Haley turned 8 on April 16th. She will be getting baptized in May. She changed her date just for me. We are going on a trip and would have missed her special day. Thank you Haley for changing it, we are so excited to be there. Haley is such a sweet girl. Haley is full of life and not afraid to do anything. She loves to be with her family, cousins and friends. Ellie and Carson love spending time with Haley. She is always so nice to play with them. We love you Haley and hope you had a wonderful day!
