WHY YOU SHOULD NOT OWN A TRAMPOLINE!

We have a new trampoline at our house. Our neighbor moved and didn't want to take it so they told us we could have it. We can't put it in the ground because it is not our home. We have a rule that only one person can jump at a time. I was inside with a friend working on her pictures while Todd was out mowing the lawn. Ellie and Carson were outside too. The next thing I hear is Ellie screaming. I ran out into the kitchen and she looked like this. We have told Carson time and time again that he can not jump while Ellie is jumping because she will get hurt. We always sit on the tramp while they jump and make sure this rule is followed, in this case it didn't happen... Ellie was double bounced off the tramp and landed head first into the curbing. I feel so awful and like I should get the best parent award for even having the darn tamp! I took her to our neighbors home who is a nurse and she told me what I should do. The poor thing, I kept her up late to make sure she didn't have a concussion. She did sleep well and she is happy as ever. They are both grounded from the tramp for a while and I am getting a net thing to put around it!
About and 1 1/2 after it happened! This morning. It is so swollen and bruised, the pictures don't do it justice! She really looks so much worse. Poor Ellie

How sad! I hate tramps too! My boys are always sneaking over on the neighbors tramp and it freaks me out!

Poor little girl! I agree tramps are scary though we do have one. Last summer our big kid neighbors hung on our enclose net thing and ruined it (little snots:^) and I don't even like my kids out there now. The net seems to brings a little bit of comfort I think...so we both just need to get one and then we can breath a little easier:^) Good luck with her little head!

Poor Ellie! We have that same rule about our tramp too; they can be so dangerous! Anna is so rough when Jake is on with her, so no more togetherness on the tramp. Hope she's better now! Cute girl...

Have I ever told you the story about the brave young Indian?
