I got the real story from our neighbor about what happened. He said he watch Carson throw Missy out in to the street and she landed on her front paws and face. She layed there for about 10 seconds just kicking, when she got up and ran to the garage, that is probably when I heard her screaming. I never thought it would be like this, Carson and Ellie have always been so loving to animals. It must be because she is so little and they think they are the boss and can do whatever they want to her. I can't wait till she is bigger than them...oh how the tables will turn! :) I really have to watch and make sure Missy doesn't get her revenge!

Poor thing! She is so cute!
Oh, that is sad! I agree, they should have done pink, and it's going to stink:)I'm sure it's hard for little kids to understand the difference between their toys and something living. I'm sure they'll calm down soon. The newness will wear off and they'll start to realize that puppies get hurt too:)
Oh, and I'm so sad we had to cancel our trip down there. stupid work! AND THEN IT SNOWED HERE! Of all the rotten luck...
Sad...I'm not an especially acute dog-lover, but I feel bad for the poor girl. I'm sure your kids will learn a lot from having a dog in the home.
Actually dogs dont get stinky from their casts like we do. My little dog had to have one while I was first married to Nephi because he dropped her down the stairs and she broke her leg too. Anyway they dont sweat, just make sure you do everything the vet told you and keep it clean and dry and it wont be bad at all I promise. Poor pup.
p.s. we suck at hanging out!!
That is so sad. We have a picture almost like that with our boxer that broke his leg. I am a little jealous i have to admit. I love boxers
And this is the reason we don't have a dog. I've been heavily considering the possibility lately. Thanks for helping me make my decision!! If they weren't so darn cute.
Congrats on your new puppy! She is adorable! Poor baby though. I saw this book today in a toy store "Be gentle with the dog dear" and thought of you. LOL! Keep us posted on how things are going. We miss you. Our new neighbors are a little "different".
Nicole, I miss you! Reading your posts made me laugh hysterically and reminded me of how funny you are! Poor puppy...
Poor Missy!! She is getting around pretty good!! She's such a cutie
