BlUe and HaRrY

Ellie and Carson really want a puppy! Since we aren't getting one of those for a long time we thought a fish would be good! For FHE we took the kids to the pet store to pick something out! We thought a turtle would be fun but Carson really wanted a fish. We showed Carson the Beta Fish and he loved them. He picked out Blue! He was so excited. He loves to feed him and is always looking at him. We decided that Ellie needed one of her own so the next day Todd brought home Harry. He really is a pretty fish. Ellie sure loves them. She gets to feed her fish too. Before bed she has to say goodnight to both of the fishes. It has been fun to have the fish, the kids really enjoy them. Thye have to be in seperate bowls because they will kill each other! One day when we build our own home we will get a puppy. I think every kid needs to grow up with a dog! I have to admit, I would even like one!! :) He loves Blue! This was the night he got him!

New Camera

I have wanted to take pictures for a while now but haven't had the camera to do it. Todd was so sweet and surprised me on our anniversary with a new camera!! I am so excited to take lots of pictures!!! I hope my family doesn't get sick of being my guinea pigs!!

1st Day of PrEschOoL

Carson started Preschool at Watch Me Grow on August 21st. I was so happy that there was one spot left. It is such a great, fun and CLEAN school. Miss Julie and Grandma Smith do it out of an old house. It has two large rooms, one for playing and the other for learning and crafts. They also have a back yard and next door is a farm so they get to see the animals. He was so excited. He has wanted to go to school for such a long time. (His big dream is to ride a school bus. Whenever he sees one he say, "Mom, there's my bus.") When he woke up that morning, he wanted to go right then. He was such a big boy and went all by himself to the door! When I picked him up, you can see how happy he was!! It is kind of sad to see your kids grow up. I was looking at his baby pictures and even from just last year. He sure has gotten big so fast. It made me miss the little boy. It just makes me more aware of the time I have right now, I need to hold on to it as long as I can because soon he'll be a teenager and will want nothing to do with me. I love you Carson!! I am so happy you love school.

For our Anniversary we went and ate at the Olive Garden. Jon and Delena were so nice to watch Carson and Ellie. We were so excited because we got to drive Dieter on our date!! This is Jon and Delena's sweet bug! It was so fun to drive around in it! It made our night a lot more fun just being in it! Todd loved honking at everyone! Thanks again Jon and Delena!!!

Happy 5th AnNivErsaRy!!

Today is our 5th Wedding Anniversary! It has been the best 5 years of my life! I wanted to let Todd know how thankful I am for such a wonderful husband, best friend and father for our kids. Todd takes such great care of us. He is my life. I am so lucky to have him as my Eternal Companion! I love you so much Todd!! Happy Anniversary!!


This is the night we got engaged!

Todd totally surprised me the night he asked me to marry him. He took me up to Cascade Springs. We walked around for a little while, I had never been there, it was so beautiful! (I think it burned a while ago??) Todd acted like we were heading home to have dinner with his sister. We started back for the car and he wanted me to go the other..long way. I of course am a little stubborn and didn't want to take the long way.. I was hungry and I really had to pee (pardon my french!) and I wanted to hurry and since we still had a little drive a head of us... I finally went the other way and as we were walking along the path I turned and looked over at this pretty grove and there was a table with beautiful roses on it. He had this yummy dinner planned....Olive Garden. We ate and talked and he said we need to go somewhere else for another surprise.. So we got up to leave and he grabbed my hand and got on one knee! He grabbed the ring box that was hidden in his sock and said the sweetest things to me and asked me to marry him. I was totally in shock!! I couldn't believe it!!! It was totally how I would have wanted it!!

I have the best family in the World!!! It was so fun to be with all of them this past weekend! I wish we all could be together more often!!

HaPpY BiRtHdAy MoM!!

Today is my wonderful Mom's Birthday!! (29 and holding) I just wanted to tell her how much I love her! She is the BEST MOM in the WORLD!! She is always making sure we are all OK. She has 6 grand kids who love and miss her so much. Even though we all live away from her she always makes the effort to come see us regularly, and we love it!! She is such an amazing person. My Mom has always made our Birthday special for us so we wish her the Happiest Birthday and hope it is a special one! Thank you for all you do for us! We sure wish we could be there with you today! We sure Miss you!
