Memory Lane

Okay friends, here is a new game for us to try out. I've seen this on a few blogs and it looks like fun, so here we go...
Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I (or you and Todd) had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember, good or bad but be nice!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.
Keep it going. ENJOY!!

Ok so my first memory wasnt that sweet so I'll leave one more. I remember when you had Carson, I hadnt seen or talked to you in a long time. You had me over to meet you little guy and you were living in the house your parents bought in Spanish. Anyway the first time I saw him and you were holding him I saw something in your face like I'd never seen before. You had totally grown up and loved this little person more than words describe. I instantly knew that being a mom was what you were put here to do. And you still Rock at it

I have a memory of both of you, both when we were younger! Nicole, all the Penguin Copies memories came back but remember sneaking food out of Carrie's box! I hope she doesn't read this! Also when I first moved in up there, I tried to rollar skate down to your house and ended up running into a snowbank! Also all the night games! Oh, so many to pick!
Todd, the night that Tracy and I snuck down there and David Hawkins was there. That was my first kiss! Ha! I actually remember sneaking out to your house quite a few times!

Nicole, probably a party at Beau's cabin, for sure the trip to lake powell with all the boys and a sleep over at your house that I won't go into detail about. And when I think about Todd, I remember being in love with him in 3rd grade before his family moved up to woodland hills.

So many to choose from Cole! The 16th birthday party at Lake Powell will always be one of my favorites, especially that one night, whose idea was that anyway? And there is all those great times when we lived in Orem. Those were definitely defining moments in that apartment. Remember trying to put together our kitchen table? I was so glad to share a room with you, we had some great talks in there.

We were in 'the basement' at the Orem office and you were telling me that you were not the person to talk to about pregnancy b/c you got all the crap parts of it. I hated my 1st preg.too, but loved my2nd. Now matter how the pregnancy goes, they are so worth it, right?

I wish my hair were still like that. It just reminds me of what my husband calls "fun L'erin" apparently i am no longer fun? Part of having kids i guess. I wish i were still that same L'erin, but i would likely be tatooed single and in california. My husband got 'not so fun L'erin and 2 kids' instead. Lucky bastard. Ive tried a few times (in hopes of finding that old l'erin) to get my hair cut that way again, but it's never the same.

One of my favorite memories with Toddy was the Lake Powell trip of 2003. We had trouble getting the house boat, aka "the Powelligator," running for the first few days. We were stuck in the harbor. One would think this would have been a downer, but that wasn't the case at all. Todd made the situation a blast. We ended up having a blast swimming to a nearby vacant houseboat and using their water slide. (Trespassing doesn't seem so bad in '03 as it does now). We had a great time laughing and goofing around. It was a great trip.

Hey! I would have to agree 90% of my memories of you were either at church or at Lake Powell. But one of my favorite memories was on my 18th birthday. You came over to my house and brought me some lotion from b&b works and a really nice card. I was so surprised! That was so thoughtful of you and I still think about it every once in a while! Another thing I remember was when Hailey Houghton and I were little we were down at the mailboxes selling lemonaide. I remember you passed us on your little motorcycle and you flipped around and told us you'd be right back. You ran home and came back with a whole jar full of change and gave it to us. You wouldn't even take a cup of lemonaide in exchange. I think that was our biggest sale of the day by far... or ever! We had some fun times in Powell - we definitely need to have more!

I have so many hilarious memories with you. You were so funny at the office. I loved the days I got to work with you. Once you ran Richey, fridays were the best. I will never forget your poor swollen ankles that you would open the bottom drawer and rest your feet on. I always thought that was so funny, guess it came back to me. My ankles were even worse than yours. I also had so much fun in St. George when you invited Shane and I. That was so nice of you and we had such a blast. We miss you so much!

What a cute blog...I remeber one summer sleeping in your parents trailer in your drive way. Back then, toilet papering was a necessity for ALL sleep overs, can't remember who we targeted, but life sure was easy back then. I also remember your mom paying you to eat a strawberry, I guess you didn't like them....strange the random things you remember.
