Happy 3rd Birthday Ellie!!

Ellie was so excited for her birthday. We had Jon, Delena and Noelle, Monty and Kim (our adoptive grandparents), Ashley, NAte and the kids and Matt and Kiera. Ellie had a Princess party, she loved her cake. ( I did not attempt to try and make a cake this year, my life is too crazy right now!) Ellie had a fun birthday! I can;t believe she is already 3! Time has really gone by so fast. We sure love her! She is very FIESTY!! She definitely all girl, she has her own opinion on EVERYTHING!! She holds her own with Carson. She loves to be outside playing with anyone. I have to watch her close because she is out the door before I know it off to the neighbors to play. We love you Ellie! Happy Birthday!

Behind on BIRTHDAYS!

I haven't had a spare minute to update our blog and I have missed quite a few birthdays, Merilee, Stan, Kyle and Gentry! We hope you all had a wonderful birthday and know that we love you! Gentry

I know I have a more recent picture of Gentry but this is what I could find. He is so talented in sports and he LOVES to hunt with his dad, grandpa and Uncles. He is such a sweet, cute kid! We love you Gentry! Happy Birthday!

Kyle and Ellen

Kyle is such a gret Brother/in-law. He is always so kind and loving to us and our kids. He is so great with his own kids too! We really love being around him. He is such a great brother to Todd and I know they always will be great friends! We love You Kyle and hope you had a wonderful birthday!

Stan and Merilee

Stan and Merilee are wonderful people! We love spending time with then and Ellie and Carson love to play with them! They always make the time spent with them so fun. We hope you both had a wonderful birthday and we love you!!

Happy Birthday Dad!

It was my Dad's Birthday on the 21st. We were so lucky to have them here to celebrate a few days before. My dad is the most amazing dad in the world! I am so lucky and so blessed to have been raised by such a wonderful dad. He would do anything for anyone especially his kids and grandkids! My dad is so talented and so amazing at everything he does! We hope you had a wonderful Birthday! We Love You!!

Todd's birthday was on the 11th. Carson was so excited for his birthday he could hardly wait! Merilee too the kids and went shopping for party stuff. They came home with the perfect birthday party.....for Carson! It was really cute, he picked everything out himself! He just new Todd would love a Transformer pinata, a Star Wars gun and a Star Wars game. Merilee was so nice to let him plan the whole thing! Todd loved it! The kids had a lot of fun breaking the pinata! I hope Todd had a fun Birthday even though we couldn't really celebrate with everyone because of Easton!

I am so luck to have such a great husband who takes such great care of me and our kids! Todd is a very great dad and hubby! He is so talented and can do so many things! He is always on the the go! ( and you wonder where Carson and Ellie get it from!) Todd is such a sweet person and would help anyone out! I love being around him and I am so thankful he puts up with me and that I get to have him FOREVER!! I Love You Todd! Happy Birthday!!

We are so excited to welcome Easton into our family. He is so amazing! My water broke around 8:30am on Tuesday morning, I got Ellie out of her crib and it felt really weird, I told Todd I thought my water had broke. We took the kids to our great friends Ashley and Nate Lund and went to the hospital. When I got there they did a test to see if my water had broke, it looked like a pregnancy test. there was a faint line so they called the Dr. to see if they should keep me and bless his heart he said yes! (they were starting me on Friday anyway!) The contractions were getting worse so I asked for my epidural, I was terrified even though I had had two of them before and it wasn't that bad, the guy was really good and was so nice and careful! That was around 11:30 or so, Dr. Lunt wanted to start PIT to get me going faster, they just put it on a little bit and I went fast. I had Strep B and so I needed to have 2 doses of medicine before he could come out, that stuff is painful I'll tell you what! (Iwas in labor so long I got 3 doses!) By 2:00pm I was complete and pushing! I pushed and pushed and pushed, put in weird positions to try and get him to turn, he was posterior just like Carson and Ellie but he would not move! I agreed to let them try the vacuum and it came right off with a loud noise, scared me to death! After 12 hours of labor and 5 1/2 hours of pushing Dr. Lunt said we needed to do a C-Section! I was terrified but knew that was what needed to happen, They gave me more medicine and off we went, I got so sick, throwing up on the way to the room and while they were stitching me up! It was the worst feeling, so hard to explain, I was half numb chest up and felt awful! They had him out pretty quick! REMEMBER we didn't know what we were having and Dr. Lunt yelled, it's a boy!! Of course I cried! I asked Dr. Lunt if he would stitch me instead of staple, he agreed! It has been a hard recovery, I thought I was not going to make it the first 4 days! It hurt to cry, move, laugh, breath everything! I have to say I had the best nurses who took great care of me, a great mom and a wonderful husband who I could not have gotten through with out him! He was a true sport! I am so thankful for my parents who came and helped so much while I was in the hospital and out! They took care of the kids and me so well! It was really hard for me to tell them good by! Thank you so much mom and dad, I love you! I am having a hard time with my milk supply, he is eating everything I have and wanting more, I feel so guilty for giving him a bottle but he LOVEs it! I started some herbs today to try and help it come in more, we'll see!

Thanks for hanging in there! :) I felt bad that Brooke came all this way to see him and couldn't it got so late she needed to drive back home, the nurses was nice and let her come into recovery to say a quick hello! So sweet!! Carson and Ellie are doing OK with all of this, Carson I think has struggled the most. Ellie just smothers him. It is really hard for me when they kiss and touch him because I am such a germ freak but it's there brother so I have to let them! They are very soft with him though so that is good!

My poor feet, they were so swollen when I got home, they hurt for days!
