Is this not the SCARIEST thing you have ever seen???? I was out running this morning and about stepped on this nasty Scorpion!!! I think I jumped 100 feet!! I didn't know for sure if it was alive but I wasn't going to find out either! I have never seen one of these before, they are so ugly and you could see right through it! I went and finished me run and then went home to get my camera so I could take a picture of the yucky thing! I showed Todd and he wanted to go see it too. Well he brought the darn thing home! I about died! Todd said it was the biggest one he had ever seen! We showed Carson and told him if he ever saw one of these big or small to RUN!! I am scared to go camping with these running around! I don't think I will ever get used to the yucky bugs here! I will definitely keep my eyes more open now, especially where my little ones play!! What a great way to start off a morning~scared to death!! :)

Okay, that just gives me the creeps looking at the pictures...I can't imagine how it would feel to see one in person! I would never be able to get used the bugs and things down there. Good luck with that Cole! Miss you guys!
So I haven't checked your blog for awhile, and I didn't know you guys moved to st. george until a couple of weeks ago when I was hanging out with shel, She said you guys love it down thee, but maybe not so much now with those kind of bugs down there!! I've missed our little swim parties up at marilee's house like last summer, we only got together a couple times this year! At least you didn't miss out. I'll check back more often!:)
That is so crazy because Eric and his wife found one of those in their flower beds this week and blogged about it! They live in Death Valley so I am sure that they are everywhere! Yuck! I won't complain about the bugs we have here now!
geeze, he is a big old scropion isn't he! I remeber one year when we were in Lake Powell I saw a little clear one running on the rocks, I was so surprised and scared that I stomped on him really fast. I don't think I even realized that he could've stung me until I calmed down! Ha ha! Looks like you guys had fun in Vegas. That blue man show is a lot of fun. I can't wait to go back for another weekend trip sometime!
yuck! good thing you saw it - i probably would have not even noticed it - i am looking every which way except down when i run-bLIck!! you are sooooo lucky!!!! good lesson for carson though
Oh my, that is so GROSS! and SCARY! I freaked out over an earwig this morning! HA HA HA. I don't deal with bugs too well.

Scorpions are just one step down from mice on the "pppyuck scale". You poor thing!!
Definately next time you'll have to take a look at the house; hopefully by then we'll be in it! ;) Ya, not yet... you should see what we're living in! I'll post it soon for some laughs...too funny!
